We are both the Prisoner and the Jailer. Slowly, thought by thought we build the walls that imprison ourselves , "I am useless, it is impossible, I can do it." When we realise that it was we who built the prison with our words alone, we become aware that by the same means, we can demolish the concepts that bind us. It is through the use of positive statements, such as "I AM worthy, it IS possible and I CAN do it" that we finally free ourselves.
