The iconic Fastnet Rock and lighthouse off the southwest coast of Ireland.
Taken while competing in the Fastnet Race and just after going round the rock, which is a turning mark of the race, before then heading back to the finish in Plymouth.
The Fastnet Race is a popular biennial sailing race of more than 600 nautical miles that has already been happening since the 1920s. It starts in Cowes (Isle of Wight), then goes round the Fastnet Rock (leaving it to port!) and back to the finish in Plymouth (south Devon).
