Travel the upper basins of Arizona and you’re likely see herds of large deer/Elk grazing and sometime unaware of their surroundings. You will be considered fortunate as witness to the Mountain Lion, particularly if it in the act of stalking one of it’s fondest prey! I’ve yet to experience such setting; the closest I got was when I paid visit to The Bass Pro Shop, Mesa, Arizona. Therein were these two fine specimen that had been processed by a local taxidermy, each bagged by my camera and thus each became the first and second of a three parts composite ... background sunset the third element.
