Photo was recorded near a golf course lakes in Ahwatukee, AZ.

Time

Recording took place on Sept. 24, 2013, 10:02 AM.

Lighting

All natural over cast lighting.

Equipment

Hand held 500mm Signa lens mounted to a Nikon D300S camera; Settings F7.1, 1/200 sec., 200 iso.

Inspiration

Happenstance that these two lighted on a equipment rope floating atop the lake side pond. As often with dragonfly they can quickly take flight but usually return to that very location. However these two seemed embarking on the mating process, hence, remained stationary for several shots if would have been called for. Didn't require more then this second trip of the shutter as it appeared workable to me.

Editing

A tight crop only performed.
