The Mexican Bluewing (Myscelia ethusa) or simply Blue Wing, is a medium sized butterfly, with the black upperside marked with blue bands and white spots on the tips. The underside is brown and black, often appearing like a dead leaf.
It ranges from Mexico south through Central America and Columbia. Sometimes seen in the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
