The Heliconius Erato is probably the commonest and most widespread Heliconiine. It's 29 subspecies, including the Emma, also known as the Red Postman (pictured above).
These striking butterflies are distributed across the neotropical areas of Mexico, the Amazonia region, and Argentina.
