A Eurasian Eagle Owl in flight. I have been asked about the different colored eyes. This owl is owned by famous naturalist Steve Hoddy who often displays his free flying raptors at raptorfests, renaissance fairs, etc. My presumption is that this owl is in captivity due to an eye injury/issue.

Heterochromia is the condition where a being has two differently colored eyes. Humans, felines,canines, etc...if you have eyes this can happen.
