It took three separate trips to Yosemite before I finally was able to capture the annual winter phenomenon of the sun shining on El Capitan's Horsetail Fall as it sets that makes the waterfall look like falling lava.

This was one of my favorites from that trip. Quite a spectacle to see -- especially with the hordes of photographers waiting for the same thing.

It's like one big tailgate party.
