A Highland Scotch with a nice sweet taste of citrus with hints of orange and vanilla.

Reading up on how the Dalmore 12 is matured, I discovered that it's first 9 years of aging is done in bourbon casks with half of it then transferred for 3 years into 30 year old sherry wood casks, while the other half remains in the bourbon casks.

Makes for a fine scotch!
