Out of all the pictures entered in the contest, this is the one for which I was looking, The others are all beautiful there is no doubt, but this is the soul, the heart, the mind and look I wanted to see and of course it lies in the eyes of a dog. Not just a dog, but a Rottweiller. Magnificent, well done!

Congratulations on being recognized. This is a beautiful portrait that took my breath away. I've been lucky to be the parent of two of these beauties and I miss them so much. Wonderful capture.

Thank you Michelle, they are wonderful dogs aren't they. After my old dog passed away I couldn't bear to get another one, but this guy stole my heart with those eyes. I've never known a more loving and loyal dog, but we are continually training him because of his size, some people just feel a little intimidated by him at first but we get him to lay down so people can approach him and then they get licked to death lol..
