This sweet looking little girl was enjoying the morning digging for clams on the beach with her mom and sister. We watched them for quite some time before they casually wandered in our direction to begin munching on the grass. The babies were very wary but interested in checking us out. They had the cutest little faces and seemed to wonder what kind of creatures we could possibly be. Since mom wasn't anxious or defensive about our presence we were able to photograph them for some time. It was really marvelous.
