Lufthansa is derived from two Sanskrit words: Lupth-Hansa, meaning disappearing swan.
Along similar lines, there is a helicopter service in India called Pawan Hans.

It is no wonder why all swans are legally protected by law in the UK. They are owned by the Queen.
