Macro close up portrait photography taking an abstract look at the hard life of the humble but beautiful dandelion. this was taken not long after a heavy shower of rain, before it I had taken a shot of this stem as a perfect round. The next shower hit moments after and all the seeds had been washed away. Pretty devastating , as these little beauties do a great job at bringing goldfinches into the garden and now the rain meant another photo opportunity had been lost. taken using shallow depth and at a low pov to produce a rich green background in the little natural light available. The timing was crucial for the light and it happened to be just at dawn. Nature Photography
