This was on Christmas day 2014 in Iceland. Woke up at 6am and travelled on a snowmobile for 2 hours; and then trekking through the snow forest for another 2 hours to get to this view point by 11am for Sunrise; all this in -20c weather! Absolutely knackered...yet a beautiful Christmas morning...couldn't have asked for any better!
