Hi Celine, perfect time of day to be walking along the Thames river, you can get some amazing shots with long shadows and stark contrasts, very much like this shot. All the best, Lincoln :)

Hi Mark, thank you very much. When I saw the shot before I even took it, I just knew it would look good in B&W with high contrast, however, at the time I did wish I could fly right over the top of the tables!! What made the shot for me was the person walking by at the bottom of the shot, it helps the viewer to quickly see the shot for what it is that they are looking at and give a sense of understanding. I do have the shot as well with no human intervention and it looks quite ordinary. All the best to you, Lincoln :)

This would definitely been more difficult to figure out if you didn't have that person walking by. I'm glad you had him in the shot. He is an unexpected element who adds more depth to the photo. Great job!

Hi Ronald, thank you so much. I took several shots here and found this to be the best of the rest, the shot I have with nobody there did take sometime to sink in, but felt that viewers attention span might not get it straight away, so opted for what you see now.
