Hi Carol! Thank you :) This shot was taken without a tripod, just me strapping myself to a lamp post! 70-300mm zoom on my Canon 550D at the time. The exposure was only about 5 seconds maybe a touch less. The edit was just a crop. The LED Christmas lights provided all the lighting in a violet glow which gives of the overall effect. To be honest I didn't really think the shot would come out well, but it seems a lot of people liked it, so here it is on ViewBug :) All the best Lincoln :)
