This is a photograph of the Big Thompson River as it flows through downtown Estes Park, Colorado. This photo was captured early in the morning along the river walk just before breakfast from a vantage point I saw the night before. I love the peaceful feeling to the flowing river, the tiny rapids, the rocks along the banks, and the myriad colors of green being illuminated at various levels by the early morning sun.
