A street portrait of a mysterious man I met in Prague.
I collect these portraits in the streets waiting for the right moment. In an affort to make intimate portraits of beggars and homeless people I'm talking to them to capture their genuine emotions. They have lots of stories to tell. The loss of a job, a marriage breakup, poor health, mental problems... all of that can result in their being on the street. By and large, people don't choose to be homeless. Those are stories where I usually lern something new. I want my images to tell the stories of the people - homeless or not. I look in their eyes in particular, empathize with them, sometimes give them money. I let them tell their stories through pictures.
