Flashes lit the sky as I drove to work, I didn't realize what was happening, I thought it was just lights from passing trucks. Then I saw a streak, I could tell I was getting closer but didn't know how long I had before they stopped. I get to work rushed to the roof of the parking structure and placed my car in the same spot I do every morning, checked out the weather on my phone to see where it was coming from, set up the tripod and waited.
