The island of Santorini may have become a tourist cliche in the last few decades, but tourist trap or not, it's still a photographer's paradise. There are literally photographic opportunities around every corner and just over the peak of every incline. And this town here, Fira, is somewhat less of a tourist trap than Oia, which is the town everybody and their grandmother visits when they go to Santorini. And yet, Fira seems to me to be, if not as classically picturesque as Oia, then certainly full of more opportunity for serious photographers who know the value of exploring to see what they find
