Back in the late 1980's cameras were a LOT more simple! My first SLR was a Pentax K-1000 (which I still own) and it ran on two basic functions; aperture and shutter speed. This image is double exposed by taking a photo, rewinding the film back a full frame winding by hand and hoping for the best), and taking another picture.
I have always been fond of this image because it was taken a very long time ago, using very simple techniques (which nearly worked perfectly), and a very simple camera , and shot with Kodak color transparency film.
