thank you. this view was not expected. we had gone up to Mt. Rainier hoping for waterfall photos but all of the waterfalls were unreachable because of the snow pack. we decided to go up to the lodge and happen to cross a bridge where this view was. we quickly turned around and parked in a cleared out parking area and walked back onto the bridge and got this fantastic view. both sides of the bridge had wonderful picture landscapes.
