Hengifoss, Brekka, Iceland. The waterfall is easily accessible (easy to find) but the hike itself is steep carrying the gear I brought. Luckily, I remembered the thick heavy winter coat...but besides the strain this waterfall is worth the hike for sure. The color of the sediments in the rock is fantastic as is the thought of how long time each layer must have taken to develop or settle to the state we see today.
