I took this picture a few weeks ago at the base of Virgin falls in the Virgin Falls state Natural Area in Eastern Tennessee. Unlike most waterfalls comma this waterfall drains into a hole which leads back into the mountain. It is a bit eerie and also dangerous. If anyone were to fall into this drain hole there would be no way to recover them because it goes down for over a thousand feet so I am told.
