During our stay in Death Valley, we wanted to Visit the Racetrack Playa. Unfortunately I got sick and had to rest one day in bed. As this was at the first part of our 3 Weeks trip, we moved on after my "recovery" because we had so many places we wanted to see and time is always tight;)
Long story short, we came back!!
And we made those 28 miles on the unpaved road with our rental car, without any damages and saved the 300 bugs for the rental Jeep.
And boy I fell in love with this place. We arrived just during sunset, then we had about an hour the show of the MilkyWay before the Moon rose. We spend the whole night up there! It was magical!!
