This shot, with a different lens from the MilkyWay2 photo, was also at a lower ISO, and so is a little less grainy. Lots of info about astrophotography on the internet. It will take me years to get a good grasp on this, given the conditions have to be just right to do the shooting. The two sessions this week did give me a good start with figuring out what lenses and what settings to use. Next I'll have to get a tracker to reduce the star trails.
