Sunset over Fort Matanzas in St Augustine beach. I was visiting my dad while he was on vacation down here and I kept seeing these pile ons from the highway and I knew I wanted to photograph them. I ended up achieving this on my last day visiting. I arrived a few hours before sunset and tried finding a composition that I would like. Unfortunately I was not finding anything and the light was not cooperating and was looking like it was a dud. So I ended up walking under the bridge towards the ocean to see what else I could shoot instead. After an hour or two I started heading back and when i turned the corner all I could see is this glow in the distance. I booked it closer to get a the composition I wanted and started taking LE shots. I ended up with little over a dozen of them and I decided to process one every time I felt inspired and this is my third installment of this night.
