The Irish Poet, William Butler Yeats is buried near here. The photo displays some of the evidence of being taken from my moving vehicle--but perhaps expresses some of the feeling of being in Ireland near where the remains of the poet are interred.

His epitaph is aken from the last lines of "Under Ben Bulben" one of his final poems:

Cast a cold Eye
On Life, on Death.
Horseman, pass by!

The surrounding area has some megalithic remains and tales are told about magical happening during past ages.
