This baby possum (Joey) wakes me up lately at 2am by calling for it's mother outside my bedroom window. "A possum is any of about 70 small- to medium-sized arboreal marsupial species in suborder Phalangeriformes native to Australia, New Guinea, and Sulawesi. The name derives from their resemblance to the opossums of the Americas. Although opossums are also marsupials, possums are more closely related to other Australian marsupials such as kangaroos."
