Borobudur is a Buddhist stupa and temple complex in Central Java, Indonesia dating from the 8th century, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is one of the world's truly great ancient monuments, the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth.

Candi Borobudur - Самый большой буддийский храм в Индонезии.
Это грандиозное сооружение, построенное в форме мандалы между 778 и 856 гг., воплощает в себе схему мироздания. Боробудур был найден в начале 19 века, после того как находился около 800 лет под пеплом вулкана Мерапи.
