I shot this during my trip to Echuca using my shade welding plastic. Welding glass is basically to block 10 stops of light enabling the camera to make long exposure during the hard day light. I came by this tree which I wasn't sure of how to photograph, aiming to capture the entire tree in one frame which lacked the drama and decided to frame just the side trunk of the tree with that branch. You would find trees in all shapes and forms along the entire Murray river, Aus.

thanks Duthied, that was a deliberate choice as the entire tree couldn't fit in the frame. :)
