In a dim room, the only light being the window, this image is perfectly pitched so as to reveal interesting features such as the floor, wallpaper, articles on the chair and the mirror. The chair is beautifully placed in the image as a focal point and it is inviting to sit on and take in the peace and tranquility. Good image, thought inspiring.

Thank you very much. The image causes me to hear the sound of heavy footsteps on a cold wooden floor then pausing in front of the window, sliding the curtain to one side and looking out.

The red of the blanket draws my attention beyond anything else in the dimly lit room , a scene that reminds of my grandmothers very old furniture , i like antiques . Good shot , voted , thanks David for sharing , C

There certainly is the draw of the Red and what I also liked about this photograph is how your eyes seeks to find more within the darkness and things start to reveal themselves. The wallpaper, the vintage glass frame, the joints in the wood flooring and my favorite which perhaps only i know of is the upside down hat on the table to the left. Yet, its the light coming thru the window that caught my eye first and foremost; that was just precious. Thanks for your vote C!
