Ran into this amazing gentleman whilst travelling NZ. Drawn to his stylish dress sense and fabulous moustache. He agreed to having his photo taken and was chuffed I had no idea who he was. His companion introduced him as Sir John Trimmer. Sir Jon Charles Trimmer, KNZM, MBE, also known as Jonty Trimmer, is a New Zealand ballet dancer who was with the New Zealand Ballet Company in 1958 and 1959 and from 1970 to the present. Of course once I had his name I recognised him and his accomplishment in ballet. However, he is also an artist and I was able to check out his work locally. He also agreed for me to use and publish his photos.
