08. Giant Boy by Liver Building

For three days (5th -7th October 2018) Liverpool, UK, was enthralled by the third and final visit of the Giants - a spectacular street theatre event staged by the French theatre company Royal Deluxe. The gigantic puppets were paraded around the city performing various activities, such as showering, eating, leaping over obstacles, sailing in the docks and, each night, sleeping in over-sized beds. This is the third time the Giants have visited Liverpool, to the delight of enthusiastic crowds. The local city council estimated that more than a million people flooded into the city during these three days to witness this show.
