Went to shoot picture of birds and got caught in a thunder and lighting storm. I shot a lot of picture of lighting and nothing came out. Finally got one that shows a bit of what was happening. Sometime there would be 4 or 5 lightning strikes at once. Ok, some of you are laughing but I am from an area this happens about every 10 years or so... Here it is the best of the best (for me)

They were all over the valley. Some hugh and the thunder was shaking the ground and other just thin spiders . Seems like only the big ones got to the ground.

you got a great capture........it sure isn't easy ! also great is the rain coming down. I know of a few who have some special equipment for Lightening to help them get the shot but no idea what it is worth !
