Taken as part of an ongoing collection called , Over the Garden Wall , which focuses on the interesting and unusual things I see leaning on or over the garden walls I pass on daily walks around my village of Llanfachraeth on the Isle of Anglesey off the coast of North Wales. ' Rural Links', is a close up study of rust and decay , age and decay , change and discardment , symbolically seen with an object that was once essential but then set aside and forgotten . The links themselves were part of the chains of a tractor attachment for a trailer and were found in the way they are seen here part hidden by a bush on the wall of a nearby farm.
