This portrait of my youngest daughter feels not just like a portrait of her character , full of hope and light and positivity , but also a portrait of the resilience of humanity in the face of dark times during the Covid Pandemic . Why? Because this is an intimate moment caught on the day that we went to visit her at her home whilst she was in quarantine with Covid 19 a few days after she had started to recover . Looking out of the window towards the sun , still smiling and taking advantage of whatever good things she could still get access too , the sun on her face , a breathe of fresh air and her parents looking up at her as close as they were allowed to give her love in whatever way they could . Taken from a close up extreme low pov with the perspective looking up the wall the lens at a sharp angle. Black and White portrait photography.
