While the rest of Zermatt slept, I would go out between midnight and 4am to capture the night sky. This panorama is 6 images (2 rows of 3 images), but the sky images are actually stacked long-exposures using a star-tracker, then stacked to reduce noise, and then all stitched together to make the panorama. The path on the right leads up to the Matterhorn, while Zermatt is seen looking back towards the left.
