There is an abundance of islands in the New Caledonian Lagoon that sport incredible beaches and reefs. Several resorts have been built to make use of this incredible resource. Boats depart daily from Port Moselle taking day trippers and overnight guests to these islands. Amédee Island is one such day resort. The UNESCO World Heritage listed Lagoon in which Amédee is located is full of a multitude of different marine species including Turtles and Remora like these.
