Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on Safari in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Time

This was taken early morning just after sunrise when the large species are most active.

Lighting

The Serengeti is a target rich environment for any photographer but you usually have to rely on the natural light from the sun or stars.

Equipment

Shot on a Canon 70D

Inspiration

This leopardess was marching through the grass and eventually led us to a small cave above a large rock where she was caring for her two cubs which made an appearance when she arrived.

Editing

None whatsoever

In my camera bag

Canon 70D, two or three lenses, and a lens cloth, spare batteries and memory card.

Feedback

With wildlife take your time and wait for the perfect opportunity. Set your camera to a continuous mode so you can capture a sequence
