While visiting the hilltop town of Orvieto in Italy, I struck up a conversation with a gentleman using the translation app on my Iphone. As I was ready to leave he proudly handed me a postcard with his photograph on it. It was then that I realized that he used to be an important figure in this beautiful ancient city. An Italian talking to another Italian from the U.S. proved just how small the world really can be. I have layered his postcard picture with the photo I took of him to create this image.

Wonderful creation.Would make great postage stamp or a poster. And full marks for daring to use the app. I'd rather talk bad Italian mixed with Spanish 😁😁😂😂. Like I did in Brazil.. But then I'm getting better
