I took a ride to Cataloochee Valley in the mountains of western North Carolina this week to capture the last of the peak fall color season before all of the leaves fall from the trees. This is a great place to go for beautiful mountain views, fall colors, and lots of elk (Cataloochee Valley is an elk preserve dedicated to repopulating the elk that have slowly disappeared from these mountains).
