This young Afghan girl came to our school in Kabul one morning and I just happened to be outside when she came into the compound. I had never seen her before and I was so struck by her smile that I asked if I could take her picture. I got three and thanked her. She went inside and I never saw her again. Hope I didn't scare her off!
