This photo was taken during a camping trip I went on for my birthday. I had walked to the creek to take photos fo turtles sitting on logs and rocks by the water, but they scarpered as I approached. This one came back and swam back and forth past me, periodically poking its head out of the water to check me out. I took about a hundred photos of this little critter, but his one is the best. I really like how the camera captured the ripples in a series of concentric circles.
