Water World Photo Contest Winners Revealed

Thank you to all the photographers that participated in the Water World Photo Contest in collaboration with Macphun, sharing their best photos showing water sceneries. A special thanks to our friend and professional photographer Jon Cornforth for his collaboration as a guest judge. Jon Cornforth is an award-winning wilderness photographer whose images have been recognized internationally for their masterful composition and incredible detail. He’s compelled to express the beauty of the natural world through his photography, traveling all year, challenging himself in new locations and documenting the unique creatures who live there.

"I admire this photo for its originality and creative vision, not to mention that it is the most unique image in that I was asked to consider. I am sure that Brian must have had a lot of warm clothes on as he ventured out into the cold, Yellowstone night. The long exposure of the thermal vents, wandering buffalo, and the full moon speaks to me as something that I would like to someday experience myself. In the interest of full disclosure, I know this location well, so well in fact that my family and I are moving to the North Shore of Kauai this summer. When I clicked on the image to view the larger version, I was delighted to see the fisherman in the left corner, because it was hard to see him in the thumbnail.
