"Violence against women is the most widespread human rights violation, and probably the least evident and punished. This story is about the power and control of one person over another. This is a story of physical and mental conditions. A woman may experience humiliation, control, neglect and manipulation.

Violence is not always visible. How could one even think of harming their loved one physically or mentally? Domestic violence is one of the most underreported crimes in the world. In domestic violence, there is only room for control. Home should be a place where women feel safe, where they are happy, where they have the desire and determination to go out, earn money, be competitive and succeed in life. Gender-based violence must be completely unacceptable in all societies. Women deserve not only to have a future but to be the architects of it.

Violence against women is a problem that is not openly spoken about. It has been a source of pain for women for many years, and cannot be resolved with rehabilitation like many other issues. This is something that hurts for years and is not treatable."
