About Myself:

I'm a 17 year old photographer and filmmaker from Buffalo, NY. I consider photography a method of visual storytelling; to craft a scene, a character, a life, and convey that through a single frame.

My Recent Project:

I've recently completed my 365, a project where I concerted, shot, and edited one photo every day for a year. It was through this project that I really dove into photography.

My influencer:

Tim Walker is my all-time favorite photographer. His work is so unreal.

My Favorite Shoot:

Probably my shoot for photo 365/365, which involved constructing a life-size cardboard plane on location in a busy park as the sun rapidly set. It was probably one of the most stressful shoots I've ever embarked on, but the end product was worth it all.

A Difficult Session:

They're all difficult, really. I find that in every shoot, no matter how carefully planned it is, something will go wrong. But that's the spontaneity of photography - it's real, and things happen, and sometimes it makes the shot better than if things had gone as planned.

What's In My Camera Bag:

My Canon 5D III, 50mm 1.4 lens, and a few plastic garbage bags in case of rain.

A Quick Tip:

Just get out there and shoot. The only way you'll get better at something you love is if you put time into it, so set aside your limitations and take photos.
