USA, California, Malibu- Last days of Spring in 2022 and with Spring brings visions of young animals.. A family of wild squirrels at the Malibu Bluff Park. The mother is feeding one of its babies. Perspective is a strong element of this photo :leading lines, the gradient filters in Lightroom 11.2, and sharpening of the subjects to give contrast and blurring the background and lastly framing the subject and light captured in the eye. I like how the wood of the small bridge is a leading line so the viewer is taken through the frame to the family of squirrels. The photo gradient in Lightroom 11.2 has been applied diagonally on the left side of the frame and at the top to accent the subject and give the composition depth.The sharpening of the subjects while blurring the background emphasizes the subjects . The mother feeding its baby is the most clear because they are the primary subjects. All these element of perspective strengthen the photo by aiding in telling the story of the mother feeding the baby. In addition, I love how the late afternoon light is captured in the squirrels eyes bringing the viewer to their faces. Lastly , The baby squirrels frame the mother feeding its baby.
