Behind The Lens

Location

The photo is taken from the mast of the sailboat "Ciudad de Melilla", as the crew prepared to set sail from Aguadulce, Almería. There wasn't much room on deck, so I decided to get out of the way like this.

Time

Not too late. Maybe nine a. m.

Lighting

Sun was in the right place, so I didn´t have to strugle with light.

Equipment

Just my old Canon 1000d and 24/70 F2.8 L lens

Editing

No too much edition. Camera raw easy levels correction and shadows and lights recovery.

In my camera bag

Canon 5d MIII, two Godox T600 speedlights, Godox trigger, batteries, Canon 24/70 F2.8L lens, Canon 50 mm F1.8... More stuff in another bag.

Feedback

I chose live view, digitally zoomed in on the face of the closest person, and manually focused. If you want sharpness and do not want surprises, it is an option that I recommend.
