this photo was taken in a park near my house during a day spent walking along it.

the shot was taken in May with only sunlight around 5 p.m.

Lighting

the natural light filtering through the branches with the waning sun enhanced the contrast between the color of the beak and the dark plumage.

Inspiration

the gaze of this beautiful black swan seemed to stare at me and invite me to approach him, which I did and he stayed long enough for me to capture this image.

I only made basic adjustments of contrast shadows lights detail color
